Upbeat and age-appropriate, these shows were developed and written by prominent South Florida psychotherapist Mark J. Cherny and widely published journalist/songwriter Andrea Ellison.  Character Education Series Shows are witty, yet straightforward and easy to understand as they deliver concrete methods and 'catch phrases' to help children address situations they may encounter.

    Choose Your Show!
The three comedies in this series are filled with lots of group audience participation, laughter, and learning.  Each play clearly focuses on aspects of character education concepts and engages the children in the audience by having them help the characters on stage learn to make positive choices.

    Anger Goes to Hollywood!
Always an audience favorite, this 'laugh-out-loud' play teaches and reviews conflict resolution technique and anger management skills and explores peer interactions.  Featured are The Really Big Baby, and The Boxer, who learn to express their anger in acceptable ways, and The Mad Professor, who helps a Very Friendly Frankenstein learn how to handle disappointment and a difficult day.  An exciting and important comedy that ends with a silly surprise!

    Mentor The Inventor!
Fast-paced, funny, and right on target, this comedy addresses the issues of bullying and peer pressure, highlights a method for making constructive decisions, and developing a way to achieve one's goals. Mentor the Inventor decides what to do when she is invited to join a club that will exclude her best friend. Professor Positivity introduces our three-step plan to develop a positive attitude, and the kids in the audience help the on-stage character make a difficult decision. Everyone's a winner when our Game Show Host chooses teams and tests the audience's listening skills in a madcap finale.

    The Character Construction Company
A wacky and wonderful play about learning how to take responsibility for one's behavior, honesty, and figuring out how to make responsible decisions.  The Giant Chicken learns not to be a 'chicken' to do the right thing, Chef Ray Sippi cooks up a special recipe for responsibility, and in the last act, members of the audience are called on stage to check out their new knowledge and participate in "Check It Out!", our stunt-filled wild game show!
