Directions to The Delray Beach Playhouse
950 Lake Shore Drive (Northwest 9th Street)

  • I-95 to Atlantic Avenue exit.
  • Go East on Atlantic Avenue to Swinton Avenue.
  • Go North (Left) onto Swinton Avenue.
  • Go West (Left) onto Northwest 9th Street. (Note: Northwest 9th Street is one very short block past the yellow blinking light at George Bush Boulevard. It is a winding two lane residential road. It may feel like you've made a wrong turn, but don't worry, you haven't!)
  • Follow the main road to the end. It will dead-end into a cul-de-sac.
  • Directly on the right, just before the dead end, is the entrance to the Lake Ida 9th Street Park.
  • The theatre is right there! Park in any space.
  • From the I-95 exit to the Playhouse should take less than 10 minutes!
  • Note: You cannot get to the Playhouse from other Lake Ida Park entrances! This is the only road that leads to the theatre.

  • I-95 to Pembroke Road exit.
  • Go East on Pembroke Road to US-1.
  • Turn North (Left) onto Monroe Street.
  • The theatre is a few blocks down on the right side at the traffic light at the intersection of US-1 and Monroe Street. This entrance is for cars only.
  • School bus drop-off and parking: Buses must continue a few feet past the Monroe Street entrance to the end of the block.
  • Turn right and follow the road halfway down the block to the Hollywood Central Elementary School / Performing Arts Center bus loop. The sidewalk leads to the theatre.
