The Pretend-Along Series Shows are favorites for preschool and young elementary audiences.  There's lots of excitement, yet the content is gentle, the characters are genuine, and age-appropriate audience participation laughter and learning abound!  These original, interactive plays were written especially for this young age group and feature a live music sing-along, make-believe, and lots of fun! Pretend-Along Series Shows are available for presentation at your school or location, or you can bring your students on a field trip to see a show at The Delray Beach Playhouse or Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center.

Each Show Runs 45 minutes with no intermission

• Dinosaur Eggs in My Lunchbox!   A sweet story about a child whose wish for a dinosaur playmate comes true.  All the kids in the audience share the adventure with Dr. Dino, Buddy, and The Buddysaurus, and pretend they are baby dinosaurs hatching from eggs and roaring for the first time!
• Stargazia Blue!   The children in the audience join Patty and the very silly Dr. Pokey on a spaceship ride to meet Shubu, the friendly outerspace child. Together, we have an out-of-this-world adventure!
• Paw Pals!  A delightful journey with Safari Joe and Patty to the very friendly Land of Not-So-Wild-Animals! We all visit with our animal friend Grr and climb up to his tree house for a great playdate!

  The Delray Beach Playhouse is an historically elegant 238 seat modern theatre in Lake Ida 9th Street Park, in the heart of beautiful downtown Delray Beach. It's indoors, air-conditioned, and is just the right size for everyone in the audience to really enjoy the show. Your students will be able to see and hear perfectly: there is a brand new sound system and all seats provide unobstructed, up-close views of the stage. There are no busy streets to cross: the busses pull right up to the Playhouse entrance, then park at no charge in our lot. Make it a Great Picnic & A Play Field Trip Day! Picnic tables in the surrounding park are available for your class' use on a first-come basis at no extra fee with your theatre booking.
